 Looking at Trophies
« Thread Started on Nov 27, 2005, 5:53pm »

Graciela, a newly sorted Gryffindor at Hogwarts, was walking around the school getting used to the place when she came across a room whose door appeared to be opened. She saw a small light that seemed to reflect off of something. She walked to the door and pushed it opened.

Inside there were several newly-polished trophies. She looked at them, admiring them. She had never seen anything shine so bright and beautifully, unless you count her mother's diamond wedding ring with a gold.

Graciela read the names of the people on the trophies. They were people that she had never heard of, but no one should have really expected her to know. She had only just moved to England. She read a trophy for house cup. It was entitled to the Gryffindor House from the previous year. She smiled a slight smiled. She moved on to another trophy that had Quidditch on it and then another silver colored one with prefects and head boys and girls. She paused a moment to examine herself.

In the reflection of the trophy, there was a Hispanic Gryffindor girl, around the age of eleven. Her hair was shoulder length, black, and her eyes were a deep brown. She had a well-defined face with the same complexion as some Hispanics had. Then she thought to herself: Will I ever make anything of myself?

Being around the trophies had made her feel as if she would amount to nothing. It made her feel like she would be a girl with no friends, no job, and no where to go. She immediately shook the thought from her mind when the door behind her creeked opened. She turned and saw........

Anya walked into the room. She was very sleepy and acidently went into thr wrong room. "*yawn* is this the DADA classroom?" sha asked. She looked around and saw that nobody but one person was in there, and that it didn't look like A classroom. "Oh, I'm Sorry, a bit tired and *yawn* trying to get to class like this is kind of hard."

Graciela turned as she heard someone enter the room. It was another Gryffindor girl whom she had not quite met. She gave the girl a small smile. "Don't worry. I understand that you are tired." She told Anya and then shook her head no. "No, this is no the DADA room. This is the trophy room." She paused for a moment and then looked at Anya. The next thing for her to do would be to introduce herself. She spoke once more in her clear Spanish accent.

"My name is Graciela Garzon. What about you?"

"I'm Anya Granger. 2nd yr. Gryffindor." She smiled and looked around. She walked up to the trophy cabits and looked at the house cups from years before. "Histroy is quiet fasinating, I think so any way." She smiled and looked at Graciela. "So, what house are you in?"

Graciela looked at Anya. She too stared into the trophy cabinets. Graciela nodded a small nod. "Yes, History is a little fascinating, but it is also boring." She said because she had not had to learnd the history of magical Colombia. She then smiled slightly. "I am a Gryffindor year one." She said and then looked back at the trophies.
