Rebekah was lost, like usual. She hadn't been quick to remember her way around the building and she had found some sort of map to use, but it didn't help her very much. Most considered her to be a true blonde, even though she was truthfully a brunette. She was always a pretty unintelligent girl, which made her wonder how she got sorted into Ravenclaw. She wasn't smart at all, so how did she get into such a house? Rebekah considered herself to be a Hufflepuff and would obviously give anything to become one, but she had heard that once you got sorted into a house you couldn't be sorted elsewhere. She didn't mind that, she just hated the fact that most considered her to be an actual stereotypical Ravenclaw at first sight. She would be sure to change their minds about the whole thing, obviously starting with herself.
After a moment of not realizing where she was she looked around the corridor. It was fairly dark and it seemed quite eerie, even sending a tingle down her spine. She gently bit her bottom lip and looked around, "Hello?" she called out, in a whisper, of course. Rebekah didn't hear anything, but silence. She continued to walk further, hoping that she would eventually bump into somebody, even a professor would work at this point. She didn't see anybody though and she was beginning to feel more spooked by the second. She heard a sound, which quickly made her stop in her tracks. Faintly shivering in fear she looked about, not liking the position she was in at the moment. Rebekah was lost and she didn't know what she could do to fix that, nor had she seen anybody to help her find her way to her common room. Yes, she still did get lost looking for her common room.
She heard another sound once more. Hearing them she couldn't quite describe the noise, it was frightening, but she didn't know what or who was making them for that matter. Rebekah moved closer to the wall, until she felt a door. She blinked and faced it, deciding if she should open it or not. Hearing that same noise as before she paused, finally deciding to not open the door. She stumbled back a bit, obviously in fear. Her hazel eyes were set on that door, scared about the possibilities behind it.

Julia saw the Ravenclaw girl in the hall. She looked quite frightened, so Julia decided to help her out if she could. "Hey. Are you ok?" she asked the girl.

Professor Tuloft was walking down the hallway, darkened by the sky outside. It was a cold winter night, and the lanterns did not illuminate the hallways enough to see ten feet ahead. Professor Tuloft sighed, and said, "Lumos." This helped a little bit. It made the path for seeing a tad bit more clear. She saw a student backing away from a door, and another seeingly asking her if she needed help of any sort. Professor Tuloft decided to approach them.
"Hello, girls," she said in her kind voice. She looked from one to the other. One was a first year Ravenclaw who seemed a bit timid about the hallway. The other, a second year Gryffindor. "Do you need some help getting somewhere?" Professor Tuloft asked the Ravenclaw. "I'm the new Transfiguration teacher..." she said, as the girls did not respond. She held her wand lower, seeing as she'd been holding it up to see the girls' faces. Once she did so, she waited for the girl to answer her question.

"Oh, hello Professor. I'm fine, but she looks frightened. I'm not certain what's wrong, but I thought I'd try to help." Julia said.

Professor Tuloft looked at the Gryffindor. "Thank you," she said. She turned to the Ravenclaw. "What do you need help with?" she asked her.

"Hey. Are you ok?"
Rebekah had heard that being asked in the corridor. She breathed heavily as she looked around for the source of the words. It was another girl. Why was she in such a scary corridor such as this one though? For herself it was probably self-explanatory. She gulped, then looked back to the door that was located in front of her. By now she was flat against the wall that was behind her, her hands were straight at her sides and she seemed to look like she was frozen in place or something.
She looked back to the girl, "Y-Yes, I'm o-ok-okay." she stuttered, in a whisper. She was apparently too scared to speak any louder, seeing as this corridor was seriously freaking her out. Rebekah watched the girl closely, but it was mainly to make sure that she wouldn't pull a fast one on herself or something. The girl obviously seemed a bit older than herself, as well as being a Gryffindor student. Maybe she wouldn't try to do anything to Rebekah? She hoped.
"Hello, girls,"
Hearing that she quickly removed her wand from her Ravenclaw robes, looking like she would use it. The girl didn't know any spells though, seeing as she was simply a first year at the school. She looked around, then she saw a bright light in her face. Rebekah had finally moved from the wall, but it was only to block the light from her eyes. She squinted at the figure, it seemed to be a professor. Would this mean that she would be in a lot of trouble? Gently biting her bottom lip she gulped, still squinting at the professor with her arm blocking the light, "Hello, pro-professor." she stuttered. The girl had obviously seemed to have definitely been terribly freaked from the noise.
"Do you need some help getting somewhere?"
The question made her spine tingle once more. She did need help getting somewhere, but she thought that her destination would be sort of unusual or fairly pathetic for a Ravenclaw. They were expected to know almost everything, or something like that. The truth was that Rebekah wasn't all that bright, she was actually rather dumb. Rebekah turned her head from the light, her arm lowering beside her. Her hair seemed to be blocking the side of her face, "S-Sort of, professor." she replied, "I can't find my way to the Ravenclaw common room, sadly." she added.
"I'm the new Transfiguration teacher..."
She remembered hearing about that class. Rebekah had already signed up for it, but she obviously had no idea who the professor was. Seeing that the wand had now been lowered a bit she turned her body to face the woman. A very small smile was forced upon her lips as she exhaled deeply, "Oh, wow," she said, "it's nice to see you, I think." she added. Rebekah didn't know if she were bound to get in trouble or anything at the moment.

Professor Tuloft lowered her wand after seeing the girl blocking the light. "Sorry about that, I was looking for somebody and it's easier to see when the light's higher." Then, she heard the girls answer. She couldn't find her way to the Ravenclaw common room. "That's alright. I got lost my first year," she smiled. "It's on the same floor as my classroom. Pretty near. Just down the hall a bit and to the right." She then said it was nice to meet Professor Tuloft. "Oh, thank you. Nice to meet you, too. I'm Professor Tuloft, since classes haven't started, I don't know anybody's names yet...So I'm sorry for that. But I've told you where it is, now off with you!" she smiled, said goodbye to the girls, and continued down the corridor to find the one she was looking for.
