The Headmaster couldn't sleep, he was to hungry. So the only thing that he could do really was go and get a bite to eat. He strolled down the steps of his office and walked across the school to the kitchen. He walked in and saw that the house elves were still working. This was no surprise to him, they never stop working.
He looked in the fridge and found himself an apple, he sat down on a chair and took a bit of the apple, watching the house elves cook, clean and bake.

Mak had found herself up again. It never surprised her how little she could sleep and still find time to be hyper. She sighed as she entered the kitchens. The house elves ignored, just as she asked, and she headed over and grabbed a bottle of water and a piece of pie that she had saved for herself. She soon noticed the Headmaster. 'Crap!' she thought to herself. She was in deep trouble now.

Rebekah had been wondering around the dungeons in search of what she'd heard the older students talking about ever since she arrived at Hogwarts; the kitchen. She'd heard about house elves who prepare the meals for Hogwarts and that they had their own little kitchen to work at. She had read up on them one day in the library a couple of days ago and had become quite fascinated to actually meet at least one house elf at Hogwarts. She had found the painting that the students had spoke of and examined it, "Hm, a pear." she whispered to herself. Rebekah skimmed over the painting, looking for that pear, "Aha." she whispered again. She smiled and tickled it, then watched as she saw several house elves at work in what she guessed to be the kitchen.
She stepped in, then looked behind her as the passage had closed. Looking around she spotted another girl who seemed to be a student, then a man who she couldn't mistake as being the headmaster of the school. Rebekah's eyes widened as she just stood there, unable to move. What would she do if she were to get caught? Worst yet, what if she were to be up past the curfew? She exhaled heavily as she thought of all the terrible possibilities that could happen to her right now. Why did she have to be hungry tonight, when she hadn't ate that much of her dinner?
After a second she managed to swallow with difficulty. She looked over to the other girl, noticing that she too had also seen the headmaster. Rebekah would have left, but she hadn't figured out how she was supposed to do that, without getting caught too. She had no choice but to possibly talk to the headmaster now, did she? She sighed heavily and walked a little ways into the room, but she didn't speak. Rebekah was too terrified to do such a thing right now.

Mak sighed. No matter what she was going to do she would be in trouble, why not go out in the bravery department? She put one of those fake smiles on. Actually, it was more of one of those uncomfortable ones. She went and sat down.
"Evening, Headmaster."
She wasn't sure if her voice shook, but all she heard were the words.

Casey had been out sending a letter to her parents when she saw a student tickle a pear and go behind the painting. She was curious and also that pear was making her hungry. She walked over and tickled the pear. The painting opened into a room that was bustling with house elves. Standing in the room were two students and a man who was unmistakeably the headmaster. She wasn't worried about being in trouble for being here if the headmaster was already here. If he was here, how could she get in trouble. She walked in and got something to eat, then sat down next to the headmaster. "Hello there," she said to him.
