The weather outside on the lawns of the school was perfect to take a walk! The sun was out high above the castle in the sky, its light hitting the water of the lake and glistening. There was a small amount of wind that was barely felt, but when it was, it was soothing. Graciela loved this weather. It was not hot like back in Colombia though. She was used to immense heat and swimming, but here was going to be different, completely different.
Graciela was walking down the walk across the lawns. The lawns were slightly sloped as she walked, and she was careful not to be clumsy and trip over her own feet because she happened to be wearing a pair of heeled boots.
The sun beamed down upon her, warming her and making her hair shine since it was soft and smooth. A small breeze began to blow, but it only made her hair flow slightly across her back. As she walked, she took in the beautiful view of the grounds and then when she was far enough from the castle and found a tree, she sat and admired the glistening lake and the large castle with the sun just above it. It had to be around noon time.
There were also a few other people on the grounds. She had not met anyone and was willing to, but she was a slightly shy person, she she usually let someone else speak before she did. But, she was willing to introduce herself if no one else spoke to her.
Just then a person walked past the tree where she was sitting and..........

Lee had been reading a slightly thick book concerning Quidditch, it seemed as if it had already been days eversince she sat on that tree branch and was quite amused she hasn't fallen off it yet. Hearing the sound of the grass waving mildly, Lee took her eyes off the book for a moment and took off her glasses, she looked down with a small yawn and found someone sitting just a few meters away from her.
The person looked as if she was entranced by the lake, Lee had figured that this person was actually a Gryffindor considering that she was wearing the red robes with the Gryffindor badge shining brightly on her chest. With another yawn, Lee placed a bookmark on the page where she had stopped reading and closed the book silently, but loud enough for the girl below her to hear.
Lee had been resting her back on the tree for quite some time now and instead of having a nice rest, she could actually feel that resting on the tree for two hours had inflicted pain on her back. "ow" she muttered to herself and placed her glasses on its case then shoved it inside her messenger bag together with the book. She decided that it would be better to get acquainted with 'this girl' rather than to just sit there and bore herself to death.
Lee jumped off the tree with a messenger bag hanging gracefully on her shoulder then faced the unknown girl who had been sitting there for about five minutes or so. "hey, the name's Lee Yin, 7th Year Hufflepuff, and you are?" she said with a bit of an Asian accent and extended her hand for the unknown girl to shake as a symbol of their acquaintance.

Graciela had been entranced by the water for a while, but then she heard a soft mutter above her. She looked up to see a student in the tree. It was a Hufflepuff as far as she could tell by looking at the badge.
The girl introduced herself politely, even offering a hand. Graciela extended her own and got a firm grip. She nodded at the girl and said, "Hello Lee. It's a pleasure. I am Graciela Garzon, a fourth year Gryffindor." She said and offered a smile. "If you don't mind me asking, what were you doing in the tree?"

After formally introducing herself, Lee grinned and looked up at the tree branch that she was sitting on earlier. "If you don't mind me asking, what were you doing in the tree?" she heard Graciela ask, "ahh well me? just reading a book..." Lee said dreamily and turned to face Graciela. "how about you? what brings you to this location?" Lee asked politely before staring up at the clouds.

Graciela looked up at the tree brahc that Lee seemed to be staring at as well. She then looked back at Lee as she spoke. Then she asked Graciela the same question in return. "Well, it seems like a nice day to sit and relax, and since the sun was bright, I sat under the tree. I had no particular reason for just coming out here other than that." She told Lee honestly and looked at the castle. "I think that the view other the castle from here is magnificent as well." She said and then looked at Lee, wondering if she would agree as well.
